BROOKLYN — A 12-year-old dancer reached out to PIX11 News asking for help to find a bigger space for her and 75 other children to dance.

"It's my dream but my dream is bigger than my dance studio. Can you help?" Crystal Defreitas, of Brooklyn, said.

Her dance studio, Bianca's Dance Academy on Fulton street, is owned by Bianca Hunter. Parents say it's the size of a walk-in closet.

"It's a box. A closet really. These kids don't have enough money for classes. They deserve more," said Ann Marie Defreitas, a concerned mother.

PIX11 News hopes to make a connection for these dynamic dancers, ages 3 to 15.
