Human remains found in crate at Bronx marina

THROGS NECK, The Bronx — Police are investigating a body found in a crate at a Bronx marina.

The crate was found at Locust Point Marina located at 140 Reynolds Ave., around midnight on Monday.

When police arrived at the scene, they were notified of a decomposing body inside of a crate.

The body was taken to the Medical Examiner’s office where they will determine the cause of death. The age and gender of the victim were not immediately clear.

The investigation is ongoing.
