BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, Brooklyn — A young comic book fan from Brooklyn is hoping to save the world.

Jaden Anthony, 11, and his dad are creating a graphic novel series from their home in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

Along with the help of a publisher and professional illustrators, "Kid Brooklyn" will chronicle the child's efforts to safe the planet, with some help from his friends.

Jaden Anthony says he has been interested in issues facing the planet, including climate change and environmental threats.

The graphic novel is set to be published in December.

The project can be supported on Kickstarter and also pre-ordered there.
