Teen, grandfather rescued after jet ski becomes disabled in Long Island marsh

LAWRENCE, N.Y. -- A teenage boy and his grandfather were rescued after their jet ski became disabled in the marsh on Long Island Friday afternoon.

According to Nassau County Police Department, the duo tried to walk through the marsh to the mainland. The grandfather reportedly got tired and separated from his grandson.

Both were rescued and are being evaluated. Their injuries are not yet known.
