NEW YORK — New Yorkers don’t have to rush to the movie theater to get the best seat in the house anymore.
AMC Theaters announced starting Friday, moviegoers can reserve their seats when they purchase their ticket either online or at the box office at all Manhattan locations.
Two of the theaters, 84th Street 6 on the Upper West Side and Village 7 in Union Square, had already offered reserved seating, along with 125 other locations nationwide, according to the press release. The company decided to roll it out for all Manhattan locations because of the “overwhelmingly positive” feedback it has received.
If reserve seating isn’t enough to entice you, these seats are also plush, power recliners, making you feel like you’re in the comfort of your own living room.
Manhattan is the first place to offer reserved seating at all locations.
