Woman groped by stranger while she slept on Q train: NYPD

BRIGHTON BEACH, Brooklyn – Police say a man groped a woman as she was sleeping on a Q train earlier this month.

The victim, 29, boarded a southbound Q train at the 34th Street subway station heading toward Ocean Parkway on August 12 at 9:45 p.m. when she fell asleep, police say. When she woke up to exit the train at Ocean Parkway subway station, a witness told her a man touched her chest while she was sleeping, according to police.

The stranger remained on the southbound Q train heading in an unknown direction, police say.

He is descibed as being about 35 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall with light complexion, brown hair. He was last seen wearing brown sandals, blue shorts and a pink shirt.
