Missing Bronx teenager with autism found safe, police say

CONCOURSE, Bronx – Police say a missing Bronx teen with autism has been found and returned home.

Steven Rodriguez, 17, was last seen inside a Chuck E. Cheese on Exterior Street at about 1:51 p.m., police say.

Rodriguez, who lives in the Concourse section of the Bronx, was on a trip with his summer program group when he vanished Wednesday, police say. He doesn’t know how to communicate with words and travel alone, according to police.

He is about 6 feet 3 inches tall, approximately 170 pounds, has black hair. He was last seen wearing a black shirt.
