BAYONNE, N.J. – A driver who failed to stop at the Hudson Bay Extension rear-ended a car, sparking a larger collision with four other vehicles and killing a 5-year-old child, state police said.

The five car crash happened on the westbound Hudson Bay Extension of New Jersey State Turnpike at about 7:20 a.m.
