Police: Shooter arrested after wounding 65-year-old man in Brooklyn

FLATBUSH, Brooklyn — A 28-year-old man was arrested after shooting an elderly man in the left thigh Monday afternoon, police said.

The two were arguing near the intersection of Nostrand and Clarendon Avenues at about 1:55 p.m. when the 28-year-old man shot a 65-year-old man, police said. Police arrested the shooter and recovered the gun. Charges are pending.

The victim was transported to Kings County Hospital in stable condition.
