Help sought identifying woman with multiple tattoos found fatally shot in Whitman Houses [Photos]

FORT GREENE, Brooklyn — Police need help identifying a woman who was found shot dead inside the Whitman Houses Thursday.

The woman was found unconscious and unresponsive inside the Whitman Houses at 56 North Oxford Walk in Fort Green shortly after midnight. She had a gunshot wound to the head, leg and arm, police said.

EMS responded and pronounced her dead at the scene.

There are no arrests so far.

Police say the woman is about 20 to 35 years old, 5-foot 6-inches tall with a medium build and blonde hair.

The woman also had distinct tattoos:

  • A shamrock on her left calf
  • Flames and mushrooms on her left forearm
  • Stars on her right ankle
  • The words “CJ” on her back
  • “Jonathan” and “Cerenity” on the front of her upper torso area
