Man, 76, knocked to ground during robbery in the Bronx: police

FOXHURST, the Bronx — A robber is being sought after snatching a 76-year-old’s gold chain, causing the victim to fall to the ground, police said Friday.

The victim was walking in the area of 1213 Simpson St. around 11:20 a.m. Wednesday when he was grabbed from behind, police said.

He then fell, and the attacker snatched his gold chain.

The person sought was described as being in his 30s, standing 5 feet 7 inches tall, and was wearing all black at the time.
