Suspect threatens woman, knocks her unconscious at Financial District subway station: NYPD

FINANCIAL DISTRICT, Manhattan — Police are looking for a man who allegedly knocked a woman unconscious at a Manhattan subway station Tuesday evening.

The victim, 26, was waiting on the platform at the Bowling Green subway station in the Financial District around 7:50 p.m. when the suspect approached her.

The suspect approached the woman from behind and told her he was going to slap her. He then allegedly hit her and knocked her unconscious.

She was taken to New York Presbyterian Hospital with a cut to her lip and bruising to her face.

Police released photos of the suspect who is described as being around 250 pounds and approximately 6-foot-5.
