MOUNT HOPE, Bronx –  A teenager was fatally stabbed following a confrontation with someone who asked him for money late Friday night.

The NYPD said officers responded to a 911 call at East 175th Street and Walton Avenue at 11:21 p.m.

Officers found 17-year-old Carl Ducasse with a stab wound to the chest, according to police.

Police say Ducasse was stabbed after a struggle with the suspect who asked him for money. The unknown assailant then fled.

EMS took the victim to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
