Search continues for missing Columbia University student Nayla Kidd

MORNINGSIDE HEIGHTS, Manhattan — Police are searching for a Columbia University student who went missing last Thursday.

Nayla Kidd, 19, was last seen around 5 p.m. on May 5 on campus, police said. She was reported missing Wednesday night and has not been in contact with her family or friends since last week, according to the Columbia University's Department of Public Safety.

Kidd is described as 5-feet 6-inches tall, 120 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

"Our community is deeply concerned whenever a student is missing," the university wrote on Twitter.
