Woman robs diamond engagement ring from man during stay at Standard Hotel: NYPD

MEATPACKING DISTRICT, Manhattan – Police are looking for a woman accused of stealing a man's diamond engagement ring during his stay at the Standard Hotel two months ago.

The NYPD said the woman took the ring from the 43-year-old victim's room at the swanky hotel on March 17, around 4 a.m.

Police released surveillance video of the suspected thief entering the hotel with a man and holding his hand before stopping at the check-in desk.

She is described to be about 5 feet 2 inches tall, approximately 120 pounds and has black hair.
