Man, 41, stabbed to death on Bronx street

LONGWOOD, Bronx – A 41-year-old man was stabbed and killed on a Bronx street late Wednesday, police said.

The NYPD said officers responded to a call of an assault in front of 906 Simpson St. Upon arrival, they found a man lying face down and unconscious with two stab wounds to his torso, police said.

EMS took the victim to Lincoln Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The name of the slain victim has not been released, pending family notification.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
