Teen provides those in need access to fresh produce with ‘Katie’s Krops’

Katie Stagliano, 17, is on a mission to end hunger through youth-run gardens in neighborhoods who need them the most. She started Katie's Krops when she was 9 years old and the program has expanded to 100 gardens in 37 states.

Stagliano talked about creating the program, her garden in Crown Heights and future plans.
