MANHATTAN — A person was struck and killed by an L train in Manhattan Wednesday, according to FDNY.
It happened about 11:45 a.m. at the Third Avenue stop on the L train, officials said.
The deceased has not been identified, and it was not immediately known what happened to put the person in the way of the train.
An investigation halted trains between Eighth and Bedford avenues, according to the MTA. By 1:30 p.m., L train service had resumed in both directions with delays.
