Suspects place man in chokehold, rob him in Borough Park: NYPD

BOROUGH PARK, Brooklyn — Police are searching for four men they say allegedly attacked and robbed a man in Brooklyn Monday night.

According to police, the victim, 49, was walking in the area of 38 Street and 15 Avenue in Borough Park around 9:40 p.m., when four men approached him.

The suspects surrounded him before allegedly placing him in a chokehold. Police say the suspects then threw him to the ground and kicked him in the face. They then allegedly grabbed $100 and a credit card from the victim's wallet before running away.

Surveillance video shows the suspects around the time of the attack.
