MANHATTAN — Officials have confirmed that there is no fire at One World Trade Center after people reported seeing flames and smoke atop the building Tuesday evening.
Several took to Twitter to voice their concerns.
Both FDNY and NYPD responded to the concerns on Twitter. Officials say the steam mixed with the lights of the building gave the illusion of a fire.
But they want to assure everyone there is no fire.
