JACKSON HEIGHTS, Queens –  Police have charged a 32-year-old man with the death of an 80-year-old woman he allegedly robbed and injured in September.

Jordan Vecchio of Brooklyn faces two counts of robbery and felony murder, the NYPD said Friday.

Cops say Celica Londono of Jackson Heights was walking with her 92-year-old sister-in-law on 76th Street near 35th Avenue on September 5 when Vecchio cut her purse straps and shoved her to the ground.

Londono suffered injuries to her abdomen, arm and face. Her sister-in-law was not injured, police say.

EMS  arrived and took the victim to Elmhurst General Hospital .

Before she was taken to the hospital, the victim identified Vecchio as the mugger. She was later diagnosed with a ruptured intestine and underwent surgery.

She later died from surgical complications four days later.

“I only took her purse,” Vecchio said after the attack, according to court records. “Nobody cares about her age. I’ll max out my parole and come out better and stronger. I wish she got hurt.”

Vecchio was taken to the 115th Precinct station on the day of the robbery and made several statements to the officer that were included on the criminal complaint written by prosecutors.
