Disabled Amtrak train delays traffic into and out of NY Penn Station

NEW YORK — Trains heading into and leaving New York Penn Station are delayed Wednesday  morning because of a disabled Amtrak train, NJ Transit officials said.

The disabled train is stuck in one of the Hudson Tunnels and is effecting the following lines:

  • Northeast Corridor
  • North Jersey Coast
  • Raritan Valley
  • Morris & Essex
  • Montclair-Boonton

Midtown Direct trains are being diverted to Hoboken and NJT rail tickets and passes are being cross-honored by NJT buses to the city as well as PATH at Hoboken, 33rd St. and NPS.
