Cops seek arsonist who sets dozens of Hindu flags on fire outside Queens home

WOODHAVEN, Queens – Police are looking for a man who burned dozens of Hindu flags placed in the front lawn of a Queens home last Thursday.

The New York Police Department said it happened around 89th Avenue and 80th Street.

According to cops, the culprit entered the victim's front yard and proceeded to ignite 40 religious Hindu flags before fleeing south bound on 80th Street.

Nobody was injured.

The suspected arsonist was last seen wearing a three quarter length jacket, baseball cap and carrying a medium-size travel bag.

Cops also released surveillance video of the individual lighting a flag on fire.
