Brawl involving servicemen leads to slashing outside Turtle Bay bar

TURTLE BAY, Manhattan – A man was hospitalized after being slashed in the back during a fight involving a group of servicemen at a Manhattan bar last night.

Cops responded to a call of a stabbing in the vicinity of 53rd Street and Second Avenue about 7:46 p.m. Wednesday, police said.

The attack stemmed from a brawl between Marine and Army servicemen that started insde the Turtle Bay NYC bar.

The victim, a 30-year-old man was stabbed in the upper right back side of his back and taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

A trail of blood sat beside a green blood-soaked shirt EMT's ripped off of him to treat the stab wounds.

A crime scene detective bagged the shirt for evidence.

Police are still looking for the suspect.
