TORONTO — Carmelo Anthony scored 25 points and Lance Thomas added 17 off the bench as the New York Knicks beat Toronto 111-109 on Tuesday night to hand the Raptors their first home loss of the season.

DeMar DeRozan had a season-high 29 points for Toronto, while Kyle Lowry had 23 points and nine rebounds.

The victory was New York’s third on the road this season after winning just seven times away from Madison Square Garden last year.

The Raptors gave up their highest point total of the season and it was just the second time in eight games that Toronto has given up 100 or more points.

The Knicks were 11 for 23 (48 percent) from 3-point range, including 3 for 3 by Thomas, while the Raptors could only connect on 23.5 percent.
