Man pronounced dead after being pulled from Central Park reservoir

NEW YORK – Rescue crews rushed to the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir in Central Park Tuesday after reports of a man in the water.

Responders pulled him out of the water and rushed the unidentified man to St. Lukes Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

A helicopter, dive team, EMS and multiple fire engines rushed to the scene near West 90th Street.

The identity of the man has not been released pending family notification.

It's not yet clear how he ended up in the water.
