Trio of attackers wanted in racial bias assault on Long Island: police

FARMINGVILLE, N.Y.– Police are looking for three men wanted for a racial bias attack that occurred in late June.

Suffolk County police say a Hispanic  man was riding his bicycle on Granny Road on June 30 just after 12:30 a.m. when he was knocked off his bicycle and repeatedly kicked by three white men.

The alleged beaters are between 20 and 24 years old, according to cops. One of the men appeared to have darker skin and a beard and one of the other culprits also had a beard, police say.

Crime Stoppers are offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call 800-220-TIPS.
