UNION COUNTY, N.J. -- Erica Kenny, 22, and Chanese White, 28, entered not guilty pleas to child abuse charges today before a judge at the Union County Courthouse.

Kenny is also charged with endangering children. She could face 3-5 years in state prison if convicted. White could go to prison for up to 18 months. Both are accused of organizing a ‘fight club’ at Lightbridge Academy daycare in Cranford. The women have since been fired.

Kenny and White allegedly encouraged 4 to 6-year-olds to push each other to the ground and hit each other. The Union County Prosecutor says that Kenny took video of some of the fights and shared them with friends via the smartphone app Snapchat. About a dozen children were allegedly recorded on the videos.

Their next court appearance will be on October 15th.
