CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn -- With the sounds of the Caribbean keeping them inspired, it’s crunch time at Detailz Mas Productions.

Detailz Mas is a mas camp in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn that produces some of the vibrant and elaborate costumes that will make their way down the West Indian Day Parade come Monday.

It’s a year-long process that involves developing a theme, finding the right color scheme and just the perfect amount of detail.
