TOLEDO, Ohio -- A radio host is under fire for a billboard spoofing Caitlin Jenner.

The billboard shows Denny Schaffer mimicking Jenner's Vanity Fair magazine cover.

It also encourages people to "transition" to Schaffer's radio station, and to not call him "Caitlyn."

LGBT and other activists say the billboard is hateful.

In a statement, Schaffer says the billboard is simply a spoof of the magazine cover. He also called Jenner a "hero."
