1 dead after fire tears through Morristown building

MORRISTOWN, N.J.– One person was killed in a massive fire at a Morristown building overnight, authorities said.

The four-alarm blaze started around 11:30 p.m. Monday at 15 Pine St. It has been placed under control by firefighters.

Morristown County Prosecutor's Office said there was one fatality. They are investigating the origin and cause of the fire.

Eleven people were inside the three-story residential building at the time of the fire.
