Shooting, stabbing at Jefferson Houses kills 29-year-old

EAST HARLEM — A 29-year-old man was killed in front of the Jefferson Houses in East Harlem early ┬áSaturday, police said.

Officers responded to 220 E 115th St. at 12:06 a.m. and found the Harlem man with stab wounds to his torso and a gunshot wound to the head.

EMS transported the victim, identified as Andre Santiago, to Mount Sinai St. Luke’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
