STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (PIX11) — The five boroughs will soon have a Sonic Drive-In to call its own.

According to SI Live, the fast-food joint is opening the first New York City location on Staten Island.

The drive-through burger franchise located at 148 Page Ave. in Richmond Valley, is slated to open between mid-July and early August. The opening was supposed to happen in 2013, but construction was slowed due to Stop Work Orders from the Department of Buildings.

Richmond Valley is at the southern part of Staten Island. To get to Sonic, SI Live recommends taking the Staten Island Ferry to St. George then taking the Staten Island Railway to Richmond Valley. The Sonic is a few blocks away from the station.
