Gunman opens fire on rival in broad daylight on Harlem Street

HARLEM (PIX11) - Police are looking for the brazen gunman who shot another man twice during an argument last Friday.

The man walked past his victim around 2:30 p.m. and the two exchanged words.  Surveillance cameras around 1980 7th Avenue recorded as the suspect suddenly pulled out a handgun and opened fire, striking the man twice in his left leg.

The gunman took off running, and is currently sought by police.

The victim was taken to Harlem Hospital in stable condition.
