(PIX11)-- Theo Rossi stars in the Tribeca Film Festival movie "Bad Hurt." Rossi is a New Yorker, from Staten Island originally. He worked with the director to get the film shot on Staten Island. And when it came to raising money for the flick, the production company turned folks on Staten Island who generously donated.
In "Bad Hurt," life for the Kendalls has been burdened by grief and claustrophobia. Faced with caring for one child with special needs and another with PTSD, the family struggles for a sense of stability at home in their Staten Island hamlet. When a secret from the past is revealed, it threatens to tear them apart.
Rossi is known for his popular character "Juice" on the hit FX series "Sons of Anarchy." The show came to an end last season, but fans continue to dedicate tribute pages for the characters and the show on the web and social media.
