ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (PIX11) — The New York Yankees took down the Tampa Bay Rays Sunday afternoon 5-3 completing a three-game sweep.

Chase Headley and Mark Teixeira each drove in two runs bringing the Yankees record to 6-6 this season.

Alex Rodriguez doubled, walked twice and scored twice.

The Yankees reached .500 for the first time since it was 1-1.
