JAMAICA, N.Y. (PIX11)-- A previously unnamed woman found lying unconscious on a Queens street has been identified, according to police.

Authorities say the man seen dropping off the victim in a surveillance video walked into a police station and gave a statement to NYPD on Tuesday, identifying the victim as 18-year-old Safiya McLean, who is homeless.

The Queens District Attorney's Office has not filed charges against the man at this time, police said.

The victim was found at 131 Street and Jamaica Avenue early Saturday in an unresponsive and incoherent state, cops say.

She was taken to a hospital where she was listed in critical but stable condition.

She was wearing blue jeans, a dark colored coat and multicolored sneakers when she was found. Police released to the public a photo of the young woman in her hospital bed looking for help identifying her.
