CINCINNATI, Oh. (PIX11) — Quincey Kroner is just 2 years old but has already met his idols.

The toddler from Cincinnati loves garbage trucks and runs to the window every time he hears one roaring down the street. “Every Friday he knows they’re coming,” Quincey’s dad, Ollie, told ABC News. “From the moment he hears them from blocks away he runs to the window, climbs up on the couch and watches them.”

The neighborhood sanitation workers have befriended little Quincey, waving to him when they go down his block.

Quincey’s parents rewarded him with a toy garbage truck for successfully completing potty training and couldn’t wait to show his heroes. When he finally got to meet the men he waves at from afar, he burst into tears his father told the Huffington Post. “He was so excited leading up to it but then when the moment came he became undone.”

The adorable tot soon calmed down after the photo was taken and continued playing with his toy
