Man said, ‘I’m gonna kill you white boy,’ then slashed victim’s throat in Queens: cops

RIDGEWOOD, Queens (PIX11) -- Police are looking for a man who allegedly slashed a man's throat in Queens in an apparent hate crime early Thursday morning.

According to the NYPD, the 24-year-old victim was walking with a female friend in the vicinity of Seneca Aveue and Gates Avenue in Ridgewood at about 2:20 a.m. when a man ran up to him and said "I'm going to kill you white boy" in Spanish. The suspect then slashed the victim's throat with an unknown object. The attacker ran off with a woman that witnessed the slashing and was attacking as a lookout.

The victim was taken to an area hospital where he received multiple stitches to close the wound on his throat.

The male suspect is described as Hispanic, between 25 and 30 years old and approximately 5'8" with a medium build. The female accomplice is described as Hispanic, between 25 and 30 years old and about 5'4".
