NEW YORK, New York (PIX11) --Bill Cosby released a new video on ABC’s Good Morning America Monday in an attempt to win back his fans with laughter.

The video shows Cosby talking on a white rotary phone in his pajamas about an upcoming show in West Virginia.

The 10-second video was accompanied by another statement from Cosby reminding his fans he is here to stay.

Cosby says, “I hope you enjoyed my wonderful video message that’s filled with laughter. Hey, hey, hey, I’m far from finished. “

Many viewers seemed puzzled by the video, calling it “bizarre” and “awkward to watch” on social media.

This is the first video released by the comedian since more than two dozen women accused him of sexual assault.

Cosby is accused of harassing, drugging and sexually assaulting multiple women as far back as 1965.

Several of the women’s stories are similar. They say they were invited to Cosby’s residence and offered what they believe were drug-laced beverages.

The 77-year-old has not publicly spoken about the allegations but has released statements denying the claims.

Cosby has not been charged criminally; a defamation lawsuit has been filed against him.

In addition to West Virginia, the comedian has another performance in Maryland scheduled for the end of the month.
