All westbound lanes open on Long Island Expressway after tractor-trailer jackknifes near Little Neck

LITTLE NECK, N.Y. (PIX11) — Department of Transportation crews have removed a jackknifed tractor-trailer from the westbound Long Island Expressway near near the Little Neck Parkway and reopened the lanes.

The crash happened during the morning commute between westbound exit 32 at the Little Neck Parkway and exit 30 at the Cross Island Parkway. Traffic was backed up to Roslyn as all the lanes were closed.

A hazmat crew was on the scene cleaning up the fuel spill.

No injuries have been reported.
