High-rise apartment building fire in Hell’s Kitchen injures one

NEW YORK (PIX11) — A high-rise fire on the West Side of Manhattan this morning injured one person. Smoke belched from the 31st floor of the building where the fire happened in Hell’s Kitchen.

The blaze, at 747 10th Ave. in Hell’s Kitchen, was called in shortly before 10 a.m. The person was not injured seriously.

The cause of the blaze was not known at this time.
