PIX11 nominated for a record 62 Emmy Awards, the most of any New York news station

NEW YORK, February 11, 2015—PIX11 was nominated for 62 Emmy Awards, the most nominations garnered in a single year in the station’s history, by the New York Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. PIX11 earned more nominations than any other local news station in the market including: WCBS, WNBC, WABC, WNYW and WWOR.

To date, PIX11 has won nearly 300 Emmy Awards. The New York Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences' 58th Annual New York Emmy® Awards honor outstanding achievement in the television industry during the eligibility period of September 1, 2013 through August 31, 2014. NY NATAS’ 58th Annual New York Emmy®Award Ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2015 in New York City.
