Police searching for man who allegedly groped woman in South Slope

SOUTH SLOPE, Brooklyn (PIX11) -- Police are searching for a man who allegedly groped a woman in Brooklyn on New Year's day.

Authorities say the 38-year-old victim was walking with her boyfriend at about 5:20 a.m. At the corner of 19th Street and 5th Avenue, the suspect grabbed the woman's buttocks and vaginal area over her pants and fled northbound on 19th Street.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned Hispanic male, wearing a dark sweatshirt with large white lettering and a polka dot winter hat.
