NEW YORK (PIX11) -- Pedestrians are taking extra caution walking by 7 World Trade Center as shards of glass-like ice fall hundreds of feet to the sidewalk Tuesday afternoon.
Police taped off the walkway near the 52-story building as ice from Monday's storm begins to loosen and fall.
Witnesses told PIX11 there are people coming out of the building covering their head and dodging the falling ice.
Police are assisting people out of the buildings.
It's unknown how many of the buildings have ice falling from them.
No injuries have been reported.
People who witness hazardous ice conditions can call 311 to file a report.
