PASCO COUNTY, Florida (PIX11) — He probably should have worn a different shirt.

A 50-year-old man wearing a “Who needs drugs. No, seriously, I have drugs.” t-shirt was arrested and charged with drug possession, according to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.

John Balmer was in line at a Kmart location in Hudson Tuesday when a deputy spotted him trying to hand a “bag of green leafy substance” to the person behind him, Tampa Bay Times reported.

The person declined to take the bag, causing Balmer to place it on the floor before paying for his items at the cashier. Another deputy approached and they discovered marijuana and methamphetamine inside the bag.

Balmer was charged with one count of possession of methamphetamine and one count of possession of marijuana, WFLA-TV reported. He was held in Pasco County Jail with bond set at $2,150.

A photo of the alleged drug dealer, clad in the ironic t-shirt, was posted onto the Sheriff’s Facebook page with the caption “Ohh the irony!”
