GREENRIDGE (PIX11)– Police are looking two individuals that entered a Staten Island bagel store and fired at two employees early New Year’s Day.

The shooting incident happened Thursday around 1:30 a.m. when two men entered 1307 Arthur Kill Road and showed their firearms, police say. They ordered four male employees to the ground. When two 30-year-olds failed to comply, they were shot in the right shoulder and the lower torso inside Hot Bagels Deli.

Authorities say they then fled inside a four-door sedan driven by a third person.

Both shooting victims were taken to Staten Island University Hospital North. One of the victims was shot in shoulder was treated and released. The victim wounded in the torso was transported in not likely condition.

The suspects are described by police as men wearing dark-colored cloth masks, blue-hooded sweatshirts and dark-colored pants.
