GILBERT, Ariz. (KPHO) — We all know the holiday season can get lonely and is also a popular time to travel.

But what if you have no one to take to your trip home?

From the creators of ‘Seeking Arrangement,’ the website that glorifies sugar baby and sugar daddy relationships, comes Miss Travel — www.misstravel.com.

The site’s slogan is ‘Beautiful People Travel Free,’ and members are divided into two categories: either generous, the one paying for the trip; or attractive, the one tagging along.

TRAVEL

Some people might join for different reasons, but one Gilbert woman tells us she sets guidelines before jet-setting.

“Traveling is expensive and dating has evolved, so why not be adventurous?” said Haley, who works in sales and asked us not to reveal her last name. She said when she first joined Miss Travel after seeing it on a TV show, she received plenty of attention.

“Some were sketchy trips for sure,” Haley said. “‘Want to go to Vegas this weekend?'”

Haley said when she was about to log off for good, she got an invitation she couldn’t refuse.

“His date for his best friend’s wedding in Hawaii, she bailed, she couldn’t go, and the wedding was in three weeks,” Haley said.

She admits she hasn’t even told her mom about this yet, but said she did a background check and met the man several times beforehand.

“I put that on the line, out there, I want my own room,” Haley said.

“There are about three attractive members to every one generous member, so there’s kind of a selection for them,” said Brook Urick with Miss Travel.

She added 4,200 people in the Phoenix area are signed up and said since there’s always a risk in online dating, their site in no different.

“I recommend people only date members who are background-verified,” Urick said.

“Be super safe, do your background checks even if it is $31,” Haley said.

She told us she is currently entertaining the idea of going on a business trip with a local banker to New York next month, she’s just waiting on the background check.
