Man wearing skull mask attempts to rob Brooklyn deli at gunpoint

CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn (PIX11) — Cops are looking for a man who attempted to rob a Brooklyn deli at gunpoint while wearing a terrifying skull mask.

According to police, the suspect walked into the 3 Star deli on Ralph Avenue in Crown Heights on Dec. 13 just after 2 a.m.

The would-be robber pointed a gun at the 21-year-old clerk and demanded.

Cops say the man -- wearing a skull mask -- pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money.

The clerk refused, and the two briefly struggled over the gun, resulting in one shot being fired toward a wall.

The suspect was not injured and the suspect fled on foot without any money.
