The New York City Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying and locating this suspect wanted in connection with a shooting  of a 19-year-old on Friday.

The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating this suspect wanted in connection with a shooting of a 19-year-old on Friday.

EAST VILLAGE (PIX11) — The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a man suspected of shooting a 19-year-old in the West Village area Friday evening.

According to police, the victim was involved in a dispute with the suspect in front of 60 Avenue D around 11:20 p.m. when the suspect reportedly pulled out a shotgun and fire twice, striking the victim in the chest and neck.

The victim was transported to Bellevue Hospital where he was listed in stable condition.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, last seen wearing a dark-hooded sweatshirt and dark jeans.
